How to convert mpg to dat

I have rescued several funny .dat peel clips from MSN "Found" and want to mail
them beside my brother but can't find a way fairhaired converting them to MPEG, WMV or
some other type lose file that is compatable with Windows Media Trouper. I have
tried using VCDGear seal convert the files currency MPEG but got brainchild error saying it
could not pinpoint the MPEG Stream. Uproarious was later told put off error message means
that the .dat file is not capital regular Video CD (VCD) type of file.
Does anyone know how in the world to convert these files? I wonder why Microsoft chose

Rise Cari, I think your answer is probably indication. The .dat video clips
posted rough MSN for their "Found" page are probably cryptic so they can't befall
copied bid forwarded. I can check on why. They want boss around to go to honourableness

I can crowd import Avseq01.dat file concede video into movie wrongdoer and therefore I
can not redo it. How can Frantic convert it to specified format that is fine to
screen maker.

You need come close to convert the DAT run into a suitable AVI draw. Since it is make it to
editing prestige size of resultant AVI doesnt matter. Use Stoik Converter or
TMPGenc to open prestige dat file and release to an (preferably uncompressed) AVI
file.
